The Brief Introduction of FY-A Flight Stabilization System (called AFFS for short)
FY- Flight Stabilization System integrates the three-axis gyroscope, three-axis acceleration ,which make up a basic platform inertial navigation system .It can calculate the attitude of the model plane by a special algorithm .Once the FY- Flight Stabilization System detected there is change between the model plane s present attitude and the horizontal attitude ,it will give a controlling signal to keep the model plane in a state of equilibrium .The FY- Flight Stabilization System can be used very easily. The manipulator just need to place the control stick in the middle of the remote controller, then the model plane could revert to the state of equilibrium. The FY- Flight Stabilization System can be used in any environment, such as indoors or any weather conditions .It dose not need any other initialization. Just switch on the power then the model plane can fly to the sky stably. There are three control knobs for controlling--- elevator, aileron and directional channel.
Type FY-21AG/AP can work in the following three modes.
FY-21AG and FY-21AP nearly have the same function, the only difference is when Altitude-hold for returning and circling , the FY-21AG use the height which provide by GPS receiver as control reference .FY-21AP use the height which measured by the pressure altimeter as the control standard .
Mode 1: Closed mode of FY-21A (manual mode): All the control of the model plane is determined by the manipulator. FY-21A does not participate in work completely.
Mode 2: Auto balance mode: FY-21A flight Stabilization System will give a control signal automatically to amend the model plane to the horizontal attitude once it detected the change between the present attitude and the horizontal attitude. At the same time can through the fixed directional flight control switch to control the aircraft automatically fly according to the current course and altitude.
Mode 3: Navigate mode: The model plane fly back home automatically to the altitude which was recorded when the switch switched. At the center of home point, auto circularly fly with 80 meters radius circular.

1. FY-21AG/AP Working Principle
FY-21A measures the present flying attitude through the inertial platform which consists of three axis gyroscope and tri-axial accelerometer. When the FY-21AG/FY-21AP works at the auto balance mode, the benchmark is the horizontal plane. And it will keep the flying attitude to horizontal flight. FY-21A will control the pitch attitude through elevating rudder, the roll attitude through ailerons and stably the course through the rudder. The balance apparatus will give relevant auto control gains to help the plane back to horizontal flight When the flight attitude out of the level. FY-21AG/FY-21AP start search GPS positioning signals after power-on, when detect GPS positioning signals for the first time, and the positioning accuracy of GPS reaches to a certain degree, FY-21AG/FY-21AP will record this position as the home point. If you switch to the navigate mode when flying, the model plane will fly back home automatically at the altitude which was recorded when the switch switched. At the center of home point, auto circulating flight with 80 meters radius circular.The directional flight is effective only when the FY-21A works in the auto balance mode, and GPS positioning in force. When switch to the directional flight, the aircraft will fly according to the current course and altitude until the directional switch off or switch to other modes.

The initialization process of the gyroscope: Put in the jumper for the gyroscope initialization. Power on the Flight Stabilization System and remains stationary, Keep it more than 20 seconds. Disconnect the power, unplug the jumper.
